He spent three years shooting extreme sports in the Alps, an experience that shaped his eye and his understanding of what it means to push human limits. He is based in Paris but the mountains never really let go of him, and he keeps going back to shoot in the Alps. He loves being in the action, close to the athletes. For him, the best films are made from the inside, not from a distance.

He also works in documentary filmmaking, a format that suits him well for its honesty and its ability to capture things as they truly are. Animals and nature are subjects close to his heart, and ones he has worked with throughout his career.
